The Egyptian Museum re-opened its doors yesterday (Sunday) for visitors after closing for a day after violence erupted in Tahrir Square and the military allegedly attacked protesters.
According to Ahram Online, The Egyptian Museum Director Tarek El-Awadi stated that the military forces are still inside the museum safeguarding its halls while the tourism and antiquities police secures its walls and doors/
