A team of archaeologists from the Institute for the Study of Ancient Egypt part to Luxor (Egypt) to start the second season of excavation in the biggest graveyard of the XVIII dynasty novel of the ancient city of Thebes, and try to go where ever the looters were able to enter.
The expedition of 22 people is led by Francisco Martin Valentine, editor of Egyptology blog with Teresa Bedmar Tendencias. The expedition will be joined at various stages about 50 local workers. Excavations begin on October 1 and its director is convinced that the results exceed the previous year, which found more than 3. 000 pieces, including objects and fragments.
