Connecting to Egypt
A classroom project conceived by a graduate to research ancient Egypt turned into a wondrous experience for the student teacher's fifth-graders. Their student-teacher, Council Rock High School North graduate Jessica Fazzie, sparked the students' love of ancient Egypt when she encouraged them to write to noted archaeologist Zahi Hawass this spring.
